Pilgrimage "Okuri-Daishi"

A 200-year-old tradition centered in the Tokatsu area. Every year from May 1st to 5th, locals visit 88 sacred sites and additional designated stops.

On this tour, we join on day 4 to visit 15 historic temples and shrines.

Zen Meditation, Ryusen-in Temple

Ryusen-in Temple’s Zen Hall (Zazen-do)

Founded approx. 770 years ago. It features Chiba’s only Zen Hall with traditional architecture. A place to face oneself and find inner peace.

Someya Family Residence

Main house featuring the traditional "Magariya" structure.

A historic manor of a former village head from the Edo period. It consists of eight traditional buildings, with the residence, gardens, and groves preserved in their original layout.

Experience the authentic atmosphere of this nationally recognized historic residence through an exclusive private viewing.
