Experience making mochi using traditional tools in a grand residence dating back to the late Edo period. Enjoy the smooth texture of freshly pounded rice served with miso soup and local pickles.

Tea Ceremony at the "Someya Family Residence"

Explore this masterfully built estate, a Nationally Registered Cultural Property, through an exclusive private viewing. Inside the historic earthen-floor hall, enjoy a "Ryurei-style" Tea Ceremony (seated on chairs) for a moment of serene tranquility.

Rickshaw Ride through Bamboo Paths

Travel through atmospheric bamboo paths on a traditional rickshaw, connecting the Someya Residence to the historic Katori Shrine. Your rickshaw puller will explain the exquisite wood carvings adorning the shrine.

Contract Formation:

The travel contract becomes effective when we accept the application and receive the full payment of the tour fee.

You may cancel the travel contract at any time. In such cases, the following cancellation fees will apply, calculated from the day before the tour start date.
